Great staff. Quality shine made the old way...small batch. Shine is exceptional and extremely smooth!!! They know what they are doing. Don't be afraid of the 120 and 150 proof...you definitely need to pair it with their homemade syrups...exceptional. Our favorite syrup was the "mine fire" (cinnamon). Will be back. You can only purchase the homemade syrup on sight so stock up when you visit! Amazing staff.
I stopped by during a drive through Ohio, as it was right off the highway. Very spacious room with a clear display of spirts. There were cool chocolate truffle things and some neat local merch that give this place a home-y feel. I liked the flavored spirits the best but since I don’t drink them often, I picked up a bottle of the bourbon and their hi proof stuff- 151 proof I think! The woman running the bar was super nice as well. In my bag there was an advert for local events, so this might be a cool regular chill spot for those with reasonable driving distance. Overall, I enjoyed my short visit and appreciated Hocking Hills for their homegrown authentic vibe.
This place is a gem! Hocking Hills Moonshine is an absolute MUST visit. I was blown away by the staff and quality of their products. Major kudos to Zach who was the absolute best guide during our visit. I can’t wait to go back!
We made a stop here this past weekend and the staff was amazing! We came in to tour and do some tasting and left with more than enough to last untill our next trip. The staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond to not only explain all of their products to us but went out of their way to share with us some of their personal drink recipes. The unique flavor of some of their shine is very nice. We appreciate the experience and will be back next time we are in hocking hills.
Unexpected discovery. Stop in for a tasting and a tour of the distillery. The moonshine wasn't my favorite, but it's hard to beat a $1 tasting. The staff are friendly and the history of making moonshine in the area is really interesting. We picked up some delicious homemade chocolate truffles too.
My wife and I had a great experience here. Aime welcomed us and was very knowledgeable, in addition to creating a fun atmosphere. Really enjoyed the 110 proof bourbon.
What a great place! Friendly staff and so patient with answering all our questions. Obviously love their trade and have great plans for expansion. And the tasting was outstanding.
